This was NxtQube's first implementation of a live streaming pipeline, and the team had no dedicated real-time video solution in place. Building and maintaining a custom WebRTC stack in-house would have pulled engineering focus away from NxtQube's core drone control and monitoring logic. They needed a reliable way to stream video from their drones and docking stations directly into their React web app: fast, low-latency, and with minimal front-end complexity.
